She was Kind to Her Truth.

While I don't often have a plan for what I am creating when I sit at my table, I am often able to identify some of the girls that I paint.  This particular piece, although not planned, represents a beautiful childhood friend who has lived a life outside of that which would have been considered the "expected or norm of the day".  She represents courage and grace as she followed her heart and "was Kind to Her Truth". 

This piece is set in a 31 x 38cm, recycled antique frame. She will be delivered as an intact framed piece, ready to hang.
